AM- Arrive in Washington, DC

Take a walk through Lafayette Park to view the White House

Visit the American History and Natural History Smithsonian Museums

Lunch at Union Station

Attend the official National Memorial Day Concert on the West Lawn

of the U.S. Capitol, featuring the National Symphony Orchestra and

Visit the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum

Participate in the National Memorial Day Parade on Historic

Constitution Avenue

Depart Washington, DC, dinner en route

This is a very flexible itinerary. Except for confirmed appointments and performances, the

places of interest and the sequence of sightseeing might be changed if necessary or desirable. In

the event of an unavoidable conflict in the performance and the sightseeing schedule, the

concert schedule will prevail, and it may be necessary to exclude some sightseeing activities.

The absolute last day to turn in orders is the April Booster Meeting (April 13, 2015). Orders may be turned into box marked “flower sale” in the band room if you can’t make the April meeting.

Boosters accept orders for flowers during March, turn in their orders in April  and pick up is the Saturday before Mothers Day. The 2015 delivery date is May 9, 2015. Materials related to the sale are below.  Be sure to mark the top of one order form as your MASTER copy.

• Our annual Bunny Breakfast will by March 28th.  Donations of small stuffed animals (bunnies, chicks, lambs, etc) can be brought to the meeting or turned into Mr. Schoenherr in the bandroom. This is one of our community service projects.
• Band Banquet (May 18th) tickets will be available for purchase at the meeting.
