Well, we started setting up – but, unfortunately, the rains came. With the forecast calling for storms throughout the day, we are canceling the Family Picnic.
Band camp for freshman, new campers and seniors starts tomorrow. Orders are being accepted for Spirit Wear. Make up fittings for marching band uniforms will be held Tuesday, July 29th during home band camp.
Shoe fitting for all new marchers (and anyone Who has outgrown their marching shoes) will be
Monday, July 28th at 12:00 PM. The cost is $32.00/pair. Money can be taken from a student band
account (Contact Jill White hf2imb.treasurer@gmail.com ), or make a check payable to Henry Ford
II Instrumental Music Boosters. (HFII IMB.) THESE SHOES ARE SPECIFIC FOR MARCHING BAND.
BLACK DRESS SHOES OR TENNIS SHOES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. We do have a small supply of used shoes you are welcome to check out during uniform pick-up, if you would like.
Reminder that the make-up fitting evening is tomorrow from 6:30-8. That is Wednesday, July 23! It is imperative that your student attend.
Our Annual Summer Family Picnic will be held on Sunday, July 27th (1-4). Please see flyer for details and list of dishes to pass.
Due to low participation, we have added a uniform fitting night for next Wednesday, July 23rd from 6:30-8:00 pm. If you’re student has not received their summer and full marching band uniforms, please plan to attend. There are too many students to accommodate them all for fittings during home band camp. Please remember to bring the forms from the summer packet (available at FORMS under 2014 Camp Forms). Please contact Mary Gudobba at mgudobba@gmail.com with any questions.

Last call for Summer T-Shirt Orders. Jill White will be placing the order at the beginning of the week. Anyone who has not turned something in and wants a parent tee or extra student tee, can drop off the order at her house this weekend. If we place a second order, the cost for a t-shirt will be more since we will not be getting a bulk discount. Contact Jill at hf2imb.treasurer@gmail.com with any questions.

Thursday’s after school rehearsal has been postponed to Friday due to a family medical situation. We will have an after school rehearsal on Friday from 11:30a-1p, followed by the Welcome Freshman Pool Party. Any parents who signed up for the Adopt-a-parent, please call your freshman parents.
