Romeo Peach Parade Chaperones Needed

We are in need of a few Chaperones for the Peach Parade on Labor Day September 5th 2016. The exact call time at Ford will be announced later but the approximate duties/time commitment for chaperone is as follows:

Meet at Henry Ford II High School – time TBA (morning)
Check the Students in on the bus
Ride the buses to the beginning of the parade with the Students
Walk with the students in the parade – may need to carry some water bottles
Check the students back onto the busses
Ride on the busses back to Ford
Done

We do need several Chaperones for this event and its typically a lot of fun with the Students  If you can participate, please email Tony Landini at anthonylandini100@gmail.com  This is a great way to get involved.

Kroger Rewards

New and current band parents – add HFII Instrumental Music Boosters (83108) to your Kroger Community Rewards and earn credit towards your student’s account.  85% of your Community Rewards goes into your band student’s account which can be used for band camp, lessons, etc.

Please bring your 4th quarter (May 1st – Jul 31st) Kroger Rewards statement to the Membership Meeting Sept. 12th to turn in. If you can’t make the meeting, please email the statement to Laura Schneider by Monday Sept. 12th.

Chaperones Needed For 1st Football Game

Our first home football game is September 1st 2016 and we are in need of bus chaperones for the game.  The information is as follows:

Chaperones need to be at HFII by 5:45pm the day of the game

Chaperones will be returning with the buses after the game.

Chaperones need to have background check paperwork on file with UCS to be able to chaperone(attached).

If you are interested in Chaperoning this event, please email anthonylandini100@gmail.com .  This is a great way to participate with the students and get involved with the Great HFII Band Program.

Falcon Champion Parent Council

I’m so excited to announce that Falcon Champion Parent Council is quickly putting together a fabulous game program, which is new for Ford II Football this year!  We will be selling programs at every single home game this year for a small fee.  Not only will the football team will be in the program, but we would like to include pages with photos of the marching band, dance & cheer teams!  Our goal is to have everything submitted by Friday, August 12 in order to have printed for the first game.
Also, we are selling some advertisements for the program!  We have quite a few opportunities of different sizes and additional advertising on our website for 1/2 page, full page & cover ad purchases.  The purchase of cover ads, 2 page spreads & full page spreads will also get a 11×17 color 2016 Football poster to display at the business!  If you know of anyone that would like to advertise in our program, it would be greatly appreciated if you could forward the information!  We would appreciate if you could pass on to your families as well in case they have a business or know of someone that would like to advertise.
On the website, in the list of items available, you will notice one line shout outs– these are for friends & family to show their support for their favorite Ford II Falcon!  Please pass along this opportunity as well to your parents as we would love to include shout-outs for all the Falcons on Thursday/Friday nights!

Interplay Summer Clinic – Color Gaurd

Interplay Winterguard is hosting a color guard clinic on August 20th from 10am until 6pm at Novi High School. The fee is $20.  This covers the clinic instruction and lunch. The HF2 color guard coach, and her assistants, will be traveling to this clinic and urge the color guard students to attend as well. Carpooling can be arranged, if needed.
