Hello everyone,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season. The Band Booster’s would like to inform everyone that the bowling fund raiser has been moved to April 29th, 2016. This change was to accommodate the incoming Freshmen student’s from Bemis so they could participate in another fund raiser before the summer break. The school plays are also scheduled the same weekend as the old Bowling Fundraiser date. If you have any questions please call/text Chris Washeleski (586) 612-4363  or Jenny Polega (586) 381-0779.

Please bring your 2nd quarter Kroger Rewards statement to the Membership Meeting Monday to turn in. If you can’t make the meeting, please email the statement to Susanne Koury by Monday January 4th.

Parents – Please remind your student that the sign up sheet in the band room for  the craft show. There are still many open positions available that need to be filled. A student/family member has to work 6 hours to get 1 share. That 6 hours can be combined with the student and 2 family members.

Example: Student 6 hrs = 1 share

Example: Student 2hrs, Mom 2 hrs, Dad 2hrs = 6 hrs = 1 share.

Example: Student 4hrs, sibling 2hrs = 6 hrs = 1 share

The Booster’s will have order forms available at the January Membership Meeting. Orders & payment will be due February 1st with delivery on February 11th . Orders forms will also be available Tuesday in the band room if you can’t make the meeting. This is an easy way to earn money for your student’s account.

  • Next Band Booster Meeting is Monday, January 4th at 7PM.
  • Scrips / Gift Card orders are due at Monday’s meeting.  This is one of our easiest fundraisers.  You can earn money for your student’s account just by purchasing gift cards for stores where you already purchase items.  Sam’s Club, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Starbucks, Wendy’s, Subway, Meijers, Mobil, etc. If you have any questions please contact Denise Henigan at 586-243-1658 or email henigand@gmail.com .

Thank you to all the kids and parents who volunteered or donated to the Polar Pizza Party! It was great to see all the kids who came having so much fun and excited to see Santa. We couldn’t of done it without all your help.

The boosters need a few more people to help set up/tear down at the Winter Concert afterglows. We will start to set up around 6ish. You will be able to go in and watch the concert. We would just ask for you to come help put cookies out about 10-20 minutes early. Clean up will be immediately after the crowd die’s and only takes a few minutes.

We also still need cookie donations for both nights. Please drop them off in the band room clearly marked afterglow donation or after 6pm to the volunteers.

Polar Pizza Party Flyer Link

Henry Ford II is having it’s annual Polar Pizza Party December 11th, from 5pm – 8pm. Santa Claus will be making an early visit this year. We’re planning fun for girls and boys of all ages. Enjoy pizza, salad and a drink. Stop by the cookie table to decorate your own treat and the cookie walk with sweet treats to take home!

Bring Your lists and have your photo taken with Santa Claus! Crafts and story telling too!

Adult volunteers are still needed for the Polar Pizza Party on Friday December 11. The event runs from 5pm with clean up starting at 8pm. We understand people work and may not be able to make it there at the start of the event…if you would still like to volunteer- come when you can-we would love to still have you there! Please make sure to place your Scrip order online prior to the general membership meeting (Dec 7th). Also make sure you bring your Vince & Joe’s/Scrip Cards payments to the next general membership meeting. Denise will not be able to give any leeway this month due to the holiday’s. She needs to turn them in right away this month to get them back before the holiday’s.
