Polar Pizza Party Book Donations Needed

We are in need of Children’s book donations for the Polar Pizza Party. We had such a large turn-out last year we depleted most of our supply. Also, if any one has any old scrapbooking paper punches they no longer use and would like to donate for the craft area that would also be appreciated. Donations can either be brought to the Band Boosters meeting or the band room marked Polar Pizza Party.  Thank-You!!!

Golden Canyon Candle fundraiser featuring 15 available fragrances.The candles are $20 plus $1.20 tax. Shipping is already included in the price and each candle comes with their own gift box.

Orders will be due on November 9th (they can be turned in to the band room) and will be delivered at the December Booster Meeting.

October Newsletter, and Next Band Booster Meeting

  • The October Newsletter is now available.  Catch up on the latest information from the last band booster meeting!
  • Next Band Booster Meeting is Monday, November 2nd at 7PM.
  • Scrips / Gift Card orders are due at Monday’s meeting.  This is one of our easiest fundraisers.  You can earn money for your student’s account just by purchasing gift cards for stores where you already purchase items.  Sam’s Club, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Starbucks, Wendy’s, Subway, Meijers, Mobil, etc. If you have any questions please contact Denise Henigan at 586-243-1658 or email henigand@wowway.com .

MSBOA Ticket Pre-Sale

We will have MSBOA tickets available for purchase at Monday’s Booster Meeting.

The cost is $3.00 per adult and $2.00 student/senior
All pre-sale money is kept by our Booster organization; so please buy your tickets in advance!
After Monday night’s Booster meeting, you can still purchase tickets by sending money to school with your student to get tickets from Mr. Schoenherr.
Exact change is appreciated.  Checks made out to HF2IMB are also welcome.

4:00 PM      Report to back field for final run-through. Please make sure you have something to eat beforehand! Don’t want anyone getting sick!

After the run-through, we will go back to the band room, change into uniforms, etc.

5:00            Closed-door meeting: no chaperones, family or friends allowed.

5:15            Depart for Troy H.S. Seniors only on Bus 1

7:20            Travel time

7:30            Perform Kick-@$$ Show! Tonight is the night to make it happen!

It’s time to make babies fly, and our hearts soar!

 Immediately following the performance, we will pack the trailer. You will then have a short time to get something to eat if you wish. I will let you know where we will assemble for the awards ceremony.

9:00-ish      Awards Ceremony (In Parade Formation, at Parade Rest (Seniors in Front). You will be called to Attention for our rating. Regardless of the rating given, you will remain at Attention or Parade Rest until the end of the Ceremony; follow my lead)

9:45            Back at Ford

This is it, folks. This night is the culmination of 3 months of intense rehearsals and a lot of hard work. Keep that in mind when you step out onto the field. We all need to work together as a team, and perform to the best of our ability. You know what it takes to do your best, and now is not the time to hold back. When you step off the field at the end of the performance, you should be overwhelmed with a sense of pride. The fact that you wowed both the audience and the judges, and you did the best you could possibly do is a great feeling and one that you will remember for the rest of your life.

Cheesecake Fundraiser 2015

Cheesecake Sale – Starts in October

This annual fundraiser consists of selling cheesecakes during October up until the November meeting (Nov 2nd).  Cheesecakes are delivered in time to enjoy at Thanksgiving.

The price is$19.

Cheesecakes are 8″ in diameter, uncut and weigh two pounds.

Samplers consist of Caramel Apple Crisp, White Chocolate Cherry, Blueberry and Strawberry.

There will be a box in the band room to turn in your orders or bring to the November meeting. Checks payable to HFII IMB. Please include your name and phone number on the order form.
