The last HF2IMB Booster Meeting of the school year will be on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 7 pm in the HF2 Band Room. If you have questions about band camp, summer uniforms, fall uniforms, fundraising, band practice schedules, etc – this is a great opportunity to get answers!

Memorial Day Parade Reminder
Tomorrow is supposed to be a beautiful day, so normal summer uniform as planned: “Life’s a Beach” t-shirt, falcon socks, WHITE shoes, WHITE shorts, see everyone at 8:00 am!

Memorial Day Parade Timeline
8:00 AM Arrive at HFII in SUMMER UNIFORM (White shorts, Falcon socks, WHITE shoes, Life’s a Beach T-shirt). If the weather is quite cool, Mr. Schoenherr will make a call to let you know of any possible changes- jeans possibly, long-sleeve t-shirt, etc.
Spring Concert Tonight (Thursday)! 7 PM

Picture Day – Monday!
On Monday May 19, Prestige Portraits will be at HFII for our composite pictures, from 11:00-3:30. Student sign-up is in the band room. Full uniform is needed- Coats/capes/pants/gloves & Instrument. Hats/berets are NOT necessary. If you are NOT in the building at this time, you can make arrangements with Prestige Portraits to have them done in-studio. Please have this done by Friday May 30.

This will also serve as the final uniform turn-in: most uniforms are here, but if you still have yours at home, bring it in for the pictures.

Don’t Cook Monday – Support the Band !!
Chipotle Restuarant Fundraising Night is this Monday, May 12th from 5:30 – 8:30 pm.
Just come into the Sterling Heights Chipotle on Lakeside Circle, West of Hall Rd. Mall Entrance on Monday, May 12th, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, and bring in this flyer, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier and Henry Ford II Instrumental Band Boosters will get 50% of the proceeds.
Band Booster Meeting Tonight / Cedar Point Trip
Our May Band Booster Meeting is tonight at 7pm in the ECC.
The annual Cedar Point trip is Monday, June 16th. A Trip Authorization Form and Trip Payment Form are required by May 23rd. Cost is $80.
Seniors must pay by check (no payments from account). Check will be returned to seniors when they arrive to board busses – trip cost is a gift from Band Boosters, check will only be cashed if senior is a no-show. All other students may pay by check or band account.
April Newsletter / Best of DVD Order Form
The April Newsletter is now posted. Next Band Booster Meeting is on Monday, May 5th at 7pm in the ECC at HF2 High School.
Don’t miss out on your chance to order the “Best of DVD!” Copies will be available at the Band Banquet – please reserve ahead of time so Dan knows how many to make.
Band Banquet/Band Camp Info
Band Banquet tickets for May 19th are still available. Contact Margie Vanetis (mvenetis@wideopenwest.com). Tickets are $22 per person – you can send money in with your student to Mr. Schoenherr. Banquet location is the American Polish Century Club.
Band Camp will be August 3rd through 8th. Mr. Schoenherr is accepting Chaperone Applications.
All marching band students need to turn in a Summer Uniforms Order Form. Student t-shirts are included in the band camp cost, but a form needs to be completed with the student’s size. Parents are welcome to order their own t-shirts on the same form.
