Correct date for the next booster meeting is Monday April 8th. The Agenda was incorrectly identified as April 1st which is Spring Break.

Please pass along to any 8th grade parent that will have an incoming Freshman.

They are welcome to attend to start attending in April.

Please provide them our hf2imb.org webiste and they can also start sending emails to me, Jeff Finnigan at hf2imb@gmail.com, and I can add their email address to the distribution. This way they can start receiving communications for all the happenings!

2019 Board Positions

All,

Here is the responsibilities information for the 3 board positions that are up for nominations/nominees in 2019. These are 2 year term positions.

Corresponding Secretary – Nominated – Jeff Finnigan

Treasurer – Nominated – Jenifer Palombit  & Sharon Shivas

President – Nominated – Lorene Laurence

All positions must be nominated at the meeting and be present to accept the nomination.

We also are in need to fill the following chair positions before these folks leave so that there is time to be shadowed! New Freshman parents are encouraged to volunteer if they so desire!

Congratulations to the HFII Concert & Symphonic Bands on their outstanding Festival performances last night! Extremely proud of them!!! As I told them back in December when we started this, Festival is a process, not an outcome. And in the at process, the goal is to make the students better musicians. Are they better musicians now, having gone trough the process? Absolutely YES!!

Thank you so much for the tremendous show of support by the family, friends, alumni and everyone else! It is certainly appreciated. All in all it was a pretty fun night, and they even got a “Yee-Haw!!” out of me, which is extremely rare.

Reminder that the next trip payment is due at Tomorrows Meeting March 4th!

We do not know the final payment amount due for Nashville.    Please make a payment of $200 and the final amount will be due by the April booster meeting.  We hope to know the final amount in the coming days.

We need a few chaperones for the Band Festival March 8 as follows:

Concert Band – need 4 chaperone

                Chaperones need to be at band room at 2:30 (buses depart at 2:45)

                Will be back at Ford approx. 6:30

Symphonic band – need 3 chaperones

                Chaperones need to be at the band room at 4:30 (buses depart at 4:45)

                Will be back at Ford approx. 8:30
