11:30 Call time at HFII- SUMMER UNIFORM! NO EXCEPTIONS!
11:45 Depart for Jimmy Johns Field
12:00 Arrive at Jimmy Johns, unload trailer, proceed to designated area for performance.
12:30 Start playing: We are playing background music for the spectators as they enter the ball park.
1:10 Finish playing, store instruments (designated area-TBD) short break, water provided
1:40 We will be bringing the GIANT flag out on to the field for the singing of the National Anthem. After that we will pack up the trailer, head back into the ballpark, and enjoy some of the game….. (we can’t stay the entire game- buses on a Sunday are VERY expensive)
2:00 Game Starts- additional food/drinks available for purchase
3:45-ISH return to HFII
4:00 Back to HFII
If you are planning on staying the entire game, or if you plan on leaving early, a NOTE from home to your bus chaperon. You will need to make arrangements with your parents as to where to meet them.

Good Afternoon
I received a call from the USPBL (baseball league out of Jimmy Johns field in Utica) wanting us to perform this coming Sunday prior to the championship game. The only details i have right now is we play for about an hour prior to the game, then bring the flag on to the field. They would give the band (and chaperons) lawn tickets for the game, I believe discounted tickets for parent spectators.
What I need to know from the kids (i only saw 1/3 of them after I got the call) is whether they are available or not this Sunday 9/11, call time about 10:45, return about 4:00. I’d like to know this by tomorrow PM for our rehearsal. I will send texts out to the field command, etc. so I can get an idea of participation possibility before I commit to this…..
Once we commit, I will have much more detailed information.

Spirit wear includes various style sweaters, sweats, t-shirts and pant with the Marching Falcons name and logo. You can still order sectional jackets and hats. You must contact Mary Medley to make orders and set up arrangements for payment.
This order will be due by September 12th or at the September meeting…no exceptions.

Please make sure that you have a good breakfast before coming to school. Water/soda will be provided, and you can bring a snack if you would like.
11:15 Arrive at Ford in summer uniforms
WHITE SHORTS/FALCON SOCKS/WHITE SHOES MANDATORY
11:30 Leave for Romeo
12:00 Arrive in Romeo and report to assigned area
Await further instruction. You know the routine; hurry up and wait.
1:30 Parade Begins
1:30- 3:00 Step off – we have not been assigned an event number, so I will not know where we are in the parade line-up until the day of the parade!
4:15 Arrive back at Ford (approximately)
If parents are at the parade and plan on picking up students at Ford, please leave right after we pass you. Don’t wait until the parade ends to start home. There will be an adult present at school for one half-hour after the busses have dropped us off! Also, please try to park in an area that will give you easier access to leave Romeo- south of the parade route is recommended.
If you are taking your child home directly from the parade, please send in a note to be given to the bus chaperone, and pick them up at the location on the map on the reverse side.
The Parade starts at Main Street & Gates, and proceeds south. The dispersal/pick-up area is at Croswell Elementary on Dunham Road; you will see a sign posted Parade Participant Parking
Reminder Scipt and Vince & Joe Due Sept 12th
A friendly reminder that script and Vince & Joe orders will be due on September 12th. You can also turn them in to Anita at the September 12th booster meeting. All orders and checks must be submitted by this day. My address is 14962 Rotunda Sterling Heights.

Romeo Peach Parade Chaperones Needed
We are in need of a few Chaperones for the Peach Parade on Labor Day September 5th 2016. The exact call time at Ford will be announced later but the approximate duties/time commitment for chaperone is as follows:
Meet at Henry Ford II High School – time TBA (morning)
Check the Students in on the bus
Ride the buses to the beginning of the parade with the Students
Walk with the students in the parade – may need to carry some water bottles
Check the students back onto the busses
Ride on the busses back to Ford
Done
We do need several Chaperones for this event and its typically a lot of fun with the Students If you can participate, please email Tony Landini at anthonylandini100@gmail.com This is a great way to get involved.

New and current band parents – add HFII Instrumental Music Boosters (83108) to your Kroger Community Rewards and earn credit towards your student’s account. 85% of your Community Rewards goes into your band student’s account which can be used for band camp, lessons, etc.
Please bring your 4th quarter (May 1st – Jul 31st) Kroger Rewards statement to the Membership Meeting Sept. 12th to turn in. If you can’t make the meeting, please email the statement to Laura Schneider by Monday Sept. 12th.
