National Coney Island restaurant night March 14th. The event run from 4PM – 8PM. You must bring the flyer in with you and give it your server for the Boosters to get credit. The National Coney Island is located at 45221 Utica Park Boulevard (Best Buy/Sam’s Club Plaza off Hall Rd near the M-53 freeway). All payments are due in full by April 1st NO EXCEPTIONS
Please note that the IMB does offer the option to pay for trips via credit card – there is a 2.75% fee added to your total to utilize this service.

Our next band parent meeting is Monday, April 10th and the last day to turn in your bowling fundraiser ticket order.  You’re welcome to drop off your ticket order anytime at Chris’ house (21 and Schoenherr area) between now and the meeting to guarantee your tickets.  We have 91 of the 180 sold already and only 7 weeks to go!    

Plus we’re still taking donations for baskets.  Suggestions: gift cards to restuarants, Itune cards and lottery tickets.

Need to get your taxes done. Here’s a great way to have your taxes done and donate money to the band without costing you a penny for the donation to the band. Just go to any H&R Block to have your taxes done and they will donate $20 per return processed to the Instrumental Music Band. If you have any family or friends that use H&R Block, they can also use the form, so please pass it on to anyone you know. Please remember to take the flyer when getting your taxes done.

It’s valid at any H&R Block office.

8:50             Depart for DHS

9:20             Arrive at DHS, report to homeroom. No food or drink allowed in the homeroom or auditorium. Time permitting, we will listen to one other group perform.

10:20           Warm-up in assigned room

10:50       Brilliant performance!

11:20           Sight-reading

12:00 (Approx.)    Ratings posted, return to Ford

12:30 (Approx.)    Back at Ford, enjoy the rest of your weekend

Just a friendly reminder, you are representing Ford II, the Music Dept., and more importantly, yourselves! I would like to find it unnecessary to remind you of this while at this event. Conduct yourselves in a manner that is professional & mature. If you perform to the best of your ability, we will be successful. Bring with you the same focus and intensity that we brought to the marching field last October. From the moment you walk in to Dakota H.S., your mind should be set on One goal. From the moment you walk onto the stage, you are performing for that One goal.

Reminder – Kroger Rewards Due

New and current band parents – add HFII Instrumental Music Boosters (83108) to your Kroger Community Rewards and earn credit towards your student’s account.  85% of your Community Rewards goes into your band student’s account which can be used for band camp, lessons, etc.

Please bring your 3rd quarter (November 1st – January 31st) Kroger Rewards statement to the Membership Meeting March 6th to turn in. If you can’t make the meeting, please email the statement to Laura Schneider by Monday,March 6th.
