Crafters’ Clearance is your source for a lot of off-beat items that you’ll never find in stores. Everything sold is hand made, and our artisians would love to tell you the story associated with the special item. So please come support the young musicians of the Henry Ford II Band and share the Face Book page.

A partial list of Frequently Asked-For Items that will indeed be at Crafters’ Clearance this year:
*The lady with the homemade pickles and salad dressings.
*Super-warm mittens made from recycled sweaters
*American Girl doll clothes
*The Sweatshirts. You know, that really crowded booth?
*Hair bows and tutus for little girls
*Cinnamon almonds, cherry-chicken jerky, and kettle corn
*That Amish lady with the spices (actually, she’s Mennonite)
*The Pillow Lady
*Those guys with the kinda creepy-in-a-good-way sculptures
*Fudge, chocolate turtles, and gourmet apples

National Coney Island restaurant night February 14th. The event run from 4PM – 8PM. You must bring the flyer in with you and give it your server for the Boosters to get credit. The National Coney Island is located at 45221 Utica Park Boulevard (Best Buy/Sam’s Club Plaza off Hall Rd near the M-53 freeway).   • Next Band Booster Meeting is Monday, February 6th, 7PM. Agenda
  • January News Letter
  • 2017 NYC Band Trip Deposits – A $400/person going payment is due February 1st or at the February Meeting.
  • Crafter’s Clearance – The crafter’s clearance show this school year is February 10th & 11th. Please make sure your child and/or family members put in a combined time of 6 hour work to get a share put in to your students account. Also please share and like the Facebook page with friends and family to help get the word out for the years event. We also need places to put street signs. If you live or own a business on a busy street, please volunteer to place a sign on your property.
  • National Coney Island (UPDATED) – There are restaurant nights. You must bring the flyer in with you and give it your server for the Boosters to get credit. The nights are Feb 14th, and Mar 14th. The National Coney Island is located in the Best Buy/ Sam’s Club Plaza off Hall Rd near the M-53 freeway.
  • Little Caesar Pizza Kits – Orders are due Feb 6th at the meeting or before. Delievery’s are Feb 14th. Please contact Stephanie McKenzie if you have any questions. Stephanie’s email – slmckenzie@ameritech.net
  • Bowling Fund Raiser – Bowling tickets will be available for purchase at the Booster Meetings for the next 4 month or until sold out. You can also get ticket by contacting Chris Washeleski  or Jenny Polenga. Chris email – cwashele@yahoo.com, and Jenny email – petcrazy213@msn.com
  • Script / Gift Card orders – Due at Monday’s meeting.  This is one of our easiest fundraisers.  You can earn money for your student’s account just by purchasing gift cards for stores where you already purchase items.  Sam’s Club, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Starbucks, Wendy’s, Subway, Meijer, Mobil, etc. If you have any questions please contact Anita Landini at 586-604-1254 or email drummermomlandini@gmail.com.
  • Kroger Rewards-Laura Schneider email – hf2.kroger@gmail.com-(Nov 1st-Jan 31st) Due at the March 6th meeting.

Our next band parent meeting is Monday, Feb 6th so please remember to pickup a few items to add to a raffle basket or make a basket of your choice. If you would like to make a basket representing your business that would be AWESOME! We’ll accept cash donations and make the baskets. Hope you’re selling your tickets! April 28th will be here before you know it!

N.Y. Trip Payment

The first installment payment of $400 for NYC is due February 1st. Payment may be given to Mr. Schoenherr, Mrs. Bullock, or may be turned in at the IMB Meeting on February 6th. You can send Mrs Bullock an email to make arrangements if you need to send it to her directly.

N.Y. Trip Chaperone Cut Off

If you are interested being a chaperone for the N.Y. trip, the cut off date to submit a application is February 6th. Please make sure you have your applications turned in to Mr. Schoenherr before then. There will be no applications taken after the 6th

If you haven’t ordered your pizza kits yet, orders are due at the next booster meeting.
The students can get order forms in the band room, or follow the link below and print off a copy of the order form to turn in.You can also order online at the link below also. Be sure to check with Stephanie by email to verify your online order was taken.

Sale starts:     1/9/2017 order forms can be picked up from Mr. Schoehnerr;
Orders due:     2/6/2017 at the booster meeting with payment (checks made out to HFIIMB NOT Little Caesars)
Pick up date:   2/14/2017 at 5:30 pm in the band room.
