Tomorrow (Monday, March 3rd) is our monthly band booster meeting at 7pm in the Henry Ford II ECC. Nominations for the three board member openings will be collected.
Little Caesar’s Pizza Kit Fundraiser Forms are due (if you can’t attend, you can send the forms in with your student – there is a folder in the band room to collect them).
Forms for the Annual Flower Sale will be available (they are also available on our website).
Our February 2014 meeting notes/newsletter is now available. Please remember that our next booster meeting is Monday, March 3rd @ 7pm.
Our next Booster Meeting is Monday, February 3rd at 7pm in the ECC at Henry Ford II High School. All band parents are encouraged to attend, participate and learn about the charity, fundraising and fun activities available for your students. Three Board Member openings will be announced at this meeting (Nominations in March, Elections in April).
Reminder: Crafters’ Clearance, our biggest fundraiser of the year, is next Saturday (Feb 8th). Volunteer Sign Up Sheets for the Crafters’ Clearance will be available at the Booster Meeting. You can earn money to defray the cost of band camp, next band trip, lessons, or instruments by volunteering for a minimum of six hours (any combination of students / parent / grandparent / etc. ) – opportunity is not limited to Marching Band participants. There are many volunteer positions and time slots available for both Friday and Saturday (Feb 7 and 8).

January’s Band Booster meeting will be Monday, January 13th at 7pm. A Crafters Clearance Meeting for Chairs/Coordinators will be held immediately following (approx. 8pm).
Due to the school closing tomorrow, the January Band Booster Meeting is moved to next week (Monday, January 13th).
Don’t forget! We need people to assist this Wednesday with the placement of the tarps for the Athletic Booster’s Craft Show. This is part of our agreement to use the tarps at our own show. If you can assist, please contact Sue Pfeifferr at pfeifferr@comcast.net. It doesn’t take your whole day and you can get credit for volunteer hours.
We have a schedule! It has now published on our calendar with attachment including all instructions. The most important information is that call time for your student is 6:30am on Thursday, November 28 and pick up back at the school is 1pm. Schedule.
Don’t forget that Cheesecakes will be delivered on Wednesday. Pick up time is 4:30-6:00pm. See you by the Band Room.
