Thanks to all the volunteers at this past weekend’s Crafter’s Clearance. We had many compliments from the artists regarding the helpfulness of the volunteers and the organization of the event!

Due to Snow Day, Meeting will be moved one week

Monday, February 9nd @ 7pm

Reminder our February meeting will be Monday at 7pm in the ECC at Henry Ford II. Couple of items of interest are:

  1. Volunteers needed for February Crafters’ Clearance this Friday and Saturday (February 7th) . Our biggest fundraiser and a great opportunity to earn money towards Washington D.C. or next summer’s band camp. To sign up or to ask any questions please contact Shelley Garon at slg1984@comcast.net. Information at http://craftersclearance.com/
  2. Scrips / Gift Card orders are due at Monday’s meeting. This is one of our easiest fundraisers. You can earn money for your student’s account just by purchasing gift cards for stores where you already purchase items. Sam’s Club, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Starbucks, Wendy’s, Subway, Meijers, Mobil, etc. If you have any questions please contact Denise Henigan at 586-243-1658 or email henigand@wowway.com .
  3. Volunteer needed to continue our monthly Restaurant Nights fundraiser. This is super simple – just arrange with a local restaurant for a night that they will share proceeds with the band and then we will advertise at the band meetings and on our website / Facebook.

If school is closed on Monday, a notice will be sent and we will reschedule the HF2IMB Band Booster meeting to Monday, February 9.

$20/bowler=2 games of bowling, rental shoes, 2 slices of pizza and 2 mystery jackpot entries (1 per game)

$10 of ticket price will be deposited into student account

50/50 drawing, lottery surprise envelopes and raffle baskets for all age groups

Please consider donating raffle baskets or items for the raffle baskets and instant lottery tickets for the envelopes.  Donations can be sent in to band room with your band student.  Any questions or to donate alcohol type items contact

Crafter’s Clearance Sign-Ups

We’re still in need of volunteers for both Friday and Saturday and we REALLY need help in the Parking Lot.  This is our biggest fundraiser of the year.  Reminder: you and/or your student (or any combination of volunteers) need to work six (6) hours to qualify for one share of the fundraising in the students account.
