September 9th Home Game

We need some Bus Chaperones.  Please contact Joy of you’re interested at joyandcarl@comcast.net.

We also need some ingredients donated for those awesome Spirit Stix we sell at the game:
>> Utz pretzels from Sam’s Club (Note that they are ONLY available ONLINE)
>> Chocolate candy melts (ones from Michael’s, JoAnns, or Meijer work the best)
>> Sprinkles! (red, white and yellow look great)
You can bring the ingredients to the September 12th Membership Meeting, drop them off in the Band room, or drop them off at Michelle’s house.  Contact Michelle at hbfamily1@yahoo.com.

GO Band!

Romeo Peach Parade Timeline

Monday, Sept. 5, 2022
Please make sure that you have a good breakfast before coming to school.
Water/soda will be provided, and you can bring a snack if you would like.

11:15a Arrive at Ford in summer uniforms – WHITE SHORTS/FALCON SOCKS/WHITE SHOES MANDATORY

11:30a Leave for Romeo

12:00n Arrive in Romeo and report to assigned area. Await further instruction. You know the routine; hurry up and wait.

1:30p Parade Begins

Step off – We won’t know our parade spot until that day, so stepoff time is not known just yet.

3:30p Arrive back at Ford (approximately)

If parents are at the parade and plan on picking up students at Ford, please leave right after we pass you. Don’t wait until the parade ends to start home. There will be an adult present at school for one half-hour
after the busses have dropped us off! Also, please try to park in an area that will give you easier access to leave Romeo- south of the parade route is recommended.

If you are taking your child home directly from the parade, please send in a note to be given to the bus chaperon and pick them up at the location on the map.

The Parade starts at Main Street & Gates and proceeds south. The
dispersal/pick-up area is at Croswell Elementary on Dunham Road; you
will see a sign posted Parade Participant Parking

Jimmy John’s Field Fundraiser

Just a reminder that the Jimmy John’s Field fundraiser is in full swing. Each game you work earns your student’s Student Account $25 and the Band’s General Fund $5. That’s PER PERSON working, so if you and your spouse both work a game, that’s $50 for your student and $10 for the Band!

If you love the sights and sounds of a summer baseball game, get involved today! The SignUpGenius and more info can be found here.
