Pre MSBOA Ticket Purchase

The boosters will have MSBOA tickets available for purchase this weekend at the football game, and USC Band-A-Rama and Monday’s meeting.

The cost is $3 per adult, $2 per senior, and $2 per student

Whatever we sell ahead of time, our Booster organization gets to keep. Anyone who purchases tickets the night of the competition has their money go to MSBOA.

Anyone who misses the meeting can still buy tickets via Mr. Schoenherr up to the day of the competition.

Sunday, Oct. 2nd 2016 – Swinehart Field @ UHS

4:15          Report to HFII, FULL UNIFORM! Make sure you have something to eat before arrival. We don’t need anyone passing out from lack of nourishment!

4:30          Depart for Utica High School IN FULL UNIFORM. Upon arrival at UHS, leave cases on the bus, trailer, and proceed to warm-up area.

5:30          Mass band rehearsal for Star Spangled Banner, Mr. Traskal, Conductor

5:45          Cadence over to field. (UHS Drumline Cadence)

6:00          Star-Spangled Banner

Bands Performances:      

Order of bands: Utica, HENRY FORD II, Eisenhower, Stevenson,

After Stevenson’s performance, load up the trailer & return to HFII, APPROXIMATELY 7:30

Spirit Stix Donations

We still need donations of melting chocolate (milk, dark, or white), PRETZELS, parchment paper, and cellophane bags.

Please drop the donations off at the band room this week if possible in a bag marked for Spirit Stix donation. We have another home game Friday night and the USC Band-A-Rama Sunday night.

Chaperone’s Needed

We are in need of some chaperones for this Fridays Football game as well as Sunday’s UCS Band-A-Rama.  If you can volunteer for either of the following, please contact anthonylandini100@gmail.com

Friday Sept 30 2016 Football Game – need chaperones to get the students to/from the Game.  Will need to be at Ford by 5:45pm to help board the students.

Sunday Oct 2 2016 UCS Band-A-Rama – need chaperones to get the students to/from the event at Utica HS.  Report time tbd – event is 5-9pm

If you can help out  with one or both of these please let Tony Landini know which one (s) you are able to do.

Homecoming Week 2016

Update: The Daniels have kindly offered there front lawn for band parent to enjoy the parade from this year again.

Monday 9/19

Rehearsal 5:00-9:00

Wednesday 9/21  – Rehearsal with Bemis Jr. High- 8:20-10:20 Report to field at 8:15, you will be excused from your classes until 10:20. If you are Off- Campus (MST, CSI IB, KFC, KGB etc.) YOU would need to make arrangements to be here. IF you cannot be here, NO WORRIES!!!

Rehearsal 2:30-4:00

Friday 9/23             

8:00 – Report to the band room at – heading to Bemis Jr. High, snaking the halls with the BJH 8th grade band, returning to HFII approx. 9:15 (off campus?- same as above)

TBD- End of D Lunch Prior to the pep assembly, we will be snaking the halls, leading into the gym for the assembly. Adjusted schedule for classes on this day has not yet been posted.

3:35 – Report to back sidewalk, getting into parade formation with 8th grade band, various alumni, etc.

4:00 – FULL UNIFORM!!!!!!!!!! Parade starts; WE set the pace for the parade, will stop along the parade route to play for the boosters

4:45ish – Pizza at HFII (mmmmmmpizza!)

5:30 – Head over to SHS, run the show on the practice field, then on to pre-game, normal football game schedule
